As a Security Officer - DoD Security Clearance in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic technology and media location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment. Requirements

Active Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance is required.
A Guard Card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the designated location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents within the tech and media environment.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential risks and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
Communicate clearly and professionally with onsite personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management.
Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities and any incidents encountered during patrols.
Assist in the enforcement of site-specific policies and procedures relevant to the tech, media, and telecom environment.
