About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Specialist in Pineville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by following site-specific access control procedures and supporting security-related protocols at a manufacturing and industrial location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor sign-in activity, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including the building perimeter, parking areas, and designated operational spaces, with attention to varying working conditions.
Document daily activity, access-related events, and unusual observations in required reports, logs, and/or electronic systems according to post instructions.
