In this role, you will remain visible, assist with routine patrols, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or drivers by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points at the location, verify credentials and/or delivery documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to buildings, yards, docks, and restricted areas.
- Control vehicle and pedestrian access for a busy logistics and distribution location, including checking in trucks, trailers, packages, and/or visitors in accordance with post instructions.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related activities, observations, and unusual events in required reports and logs.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, warehouse areas, loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter, noting access issues, damaged barriers, and/or other security-related concerns.
