About The Position

As a Security Officer - Access Screening in Manchester, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Allied Universal Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will greet associates and visitors, verify credentials, manage entry points, and monitor activity to help support security-related operations. You will stay visible, conduct routine patrols, document incidents, and communicate clearly with site leadership. Requirements

  • Must be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control access at entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing sign-in logs, and directing traffic for employee, visitor, and delivery access.
  • Monitor shipping and receiving activity by checking inbound and outbound trucks, reviewing bills of lading and/or delivery paperwork as required, and reporting irregularities per site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and complete security-related reports and documentation for Allied Universal and site leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse, dock, yard, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
