Job Description As a Security Officer - Access Point Driver in Deer Park, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Allied Universal Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will support access control by checking credentials, issuing badges, logging visitors, and monitoring entry points. You will complete routine patrols, document security-related concerns, and communicate clearly while delivering strong customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

A TSA issued TWIC is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors while following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial location.
Control access at gates and entry points by verifying identification, issuing and/or collecting badges, managing visitor and contractor check-in, and maintaining required logs.
Monitor inbound and outbound vehicle and pedestrian traffic, coordinate deliveries and service providers per site rules, and report unauthorized access attempts to site leadership.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken according to post orders.
Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, checking doors, fencing, and restricted zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
