In this role, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, document activity, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. You will also provide outstanding customer service while reflecting our agile, reliable, and innovative approach, putting people first, working as a team, and acting with integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, process visitor and/or delivery access, and document arrivals, departures, and other security-related activity.
  • Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including entrances, gates, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter zones, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and policy violations by maintaining a visible presence and reporting security-related concerns in a timely manner.
