As a Security Officer Access Management in Braselton, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, helping manage entry points, verify badges and credentials, monitor activity, and support security-related operations. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all visitors, drivers, and staff by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, managing entry and exit activity, and supporting security-related protocols at the location.
  • Monitor access points, gates, and reception areas to help to deter unauthorized entry, document visitor and vehicle information, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, applying post orders and contacting site leadership, emergency services, and/or Allied Universal management when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the warehouse, loading areas, trailer yards, and perimeter to observe conditions, report hazards or suspicious behavior, and support security-related operations.
  • Complete required logs, incident reports, and shift communications with accuracy, and assist with emergency response activities, badge checks, key control, and other assigned security-related duties.
