About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Gate Monitor in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted production, warehouse, and administrative areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter, noting unusual activity, equipment issues, and/or potential hazards within varying industrial working conditions.
• Support visitor management, delivery coordination, and badge issuance processes while maintaining accurate logs and communicating clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
