Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As an Access Control Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor entry points and patrol designated areas at a leading tech, media, and telecom location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises to help to deter unauthorized access.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter and detect irregularities; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, visitors, and staff within the tech, media, and telecom environment.
Support emergency response efforts and provide guidance to individuals during evacuation or critical events.
