As a Security Officer - Access Control Full-Time in Newnan, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and logging all personnel and/or visitors entering and exiting the premises.
Assist with enforcing site-specific policies and procedures to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities.
Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and assisting individuals as they enter or exit the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe for any unusual or suspicious activity.
Document observations, incidents, and/or irregularities as required by site procedures.
Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site contacts to communicate security-related concerns and updates.
Support emergency response activities as appropriate, following site-specific guidelines and direction.
