Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will welcome associates and visitors, verify access, manage sign-in procedures, and monitor entry points and cameras for security-related concerns. You will communicate clearly, document activity, and escalate issues as needed while delivering customer service with integrity. Requirements

• Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Control access to the location by greeting visitors, confirming identification, issuing visitor credentials as directed, and logging entries and exits.
• Monitor CCTV and/or alarm panels, answer phones and radios, and route requests to the appropriate onsite contacts in a timely manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and reporting information through required channels.
• Support logistics and distribution operations by coordinating with drivers, carriers, and onsite personnel for check-in, dock appointments, and directed delivery or pickup processes.
