About The Position

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at the location.
• Monitor entry points, gates, and receiving and shipping areas to help support authorized access, direct foot traffic and vehicle traffic, and report unusual or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, and warehouse-related spaces, with attention to access points and security-related concerns.
• Complete required logs, incident reports, and communication records, and help support daily operations by sharing relevant updates with supervisors, site personnel, and/or arriving shifts.
