Join Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing location where you will help manage access control, verify credentials, issue badges, and guide visitors and contractors through check-in procedures. You will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and document security-related activity while remaining visible to help deter incidents. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
  • At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, contractors, and employees by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
  • Manage access control at entry points by checking identification and/or credentials, issuing temporary badges per site policy, and directing authorized personnel and deliveries to the proper locations.
  • Screen and log incoming and outgoing vehicle and/or pedestrian traffic, including visitor sign-in, contractor verification, and delivery or shipment documentation as required by site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site personnel and Allied Universal supervision and completing required incident documentation.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, and report unusual conditions, hazards, and/or policy violations through the appropriate channels.
