You will conduct routine patrols, monitor activity, and document incidents to help reduce security-related concerns. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, carriers, and visitors by carrying out security-related access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Control entry and exit at designated access points by verifying identification, confirming authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing traffic flow in accordance with post orders.
• Monitor and/or respond to alarms, access control notifications, and reported incidents; document security-related activity and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access, identify security-related concerns, and report findings per site procedures.
• Operate security-related systems such as badge readers, visitor management tools, radios, and CCTV; complete shift logs and incident reports and communicate key updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or site contacts.
