As an Access Control Officer in a dynamic tech and media location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the premises. You will be a visible presence, providing outstanding customer service and communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

This is primarily a driving post.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
CPR or first aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Control access to the location, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related risks.
Monitor surveillance equipment and/or systems to observe for unusual activity or potential threats.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and irregularities according to site procedures.
Collaborate with Allied Universal management and client representatives as needed regarding security-related matters at the location.
