About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Control in Mabelvale, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or team members by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or delivery documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, loading zones, and other sensitive parts of the location.
• Respond to incidents, traffic issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, trailer yards, and dock areas, noting unusual activity and reporting security-related issues according to site procedures.
• Support visitor, vendor, and contractor processing by maintaining access records, following sign-in and sign-out practices, and assisting with direction and/or screening requirements based on site policy.
