As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol in Southaven, MS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents. Your presence and attention to detail contribute to a secure environment, while your strong communication and customer service skills support a positive experience for everyone on site. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and observe activities within the manufacturing and industrial location to help to deter incidents and promote a secure environment.
• Document and report security-related observations, incidents, and/or hazards according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support ongoing security-related operations at the location.
