Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Monitor dispatch communications, receive and document calls for service, and coordinate the timely routing of personnel to incidents, alarms, and/or operational needs across the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, relaying accurate information to site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Maintain detailed logs, incident reports, and dispatch records, helping to support clear communication, accountability, and continuity of operations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, while observing conditions and reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns in a chemical and petrochemical location.
