About The Position

As a Security Officer - Access Control in Superior, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a chemical or petrochemical location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This position requires driving responsibilities. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Assist with access control procedures at the chemical and petrochemical location, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
Provide customer service by following site-specific policies and procedures, addressing inquiries, and assisting visitors and personnel as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols for the site.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to observe and report any security-related irregularities or concerns.
Document observations and incidents in detailed reports, communicating findings to Allied Universal management and client representatives as appropriate.
Collaborate with site personnel to support security-related operations and maintain awareness of site-specific hazards and procedures.
