You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. This primarily driving post allows you to interact with visitors and staff, maintaining a visible presence and upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation as you help create a secure environment.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
This is primarily a driving post.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting or denying entry based on established protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Document and report any incidents, observations, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal and client procedures.
Collaborate with site staff and visitors to maintain a secure environment, offering assistance and information as needed.
Utilize security-related technology and equipment provided at the location to support access control and surveillance functions.
