As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and managing entry points at a bustling logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to all personnel and visitors. This position requires a valid driver's license and may involve driving responsibilities as part of your daily duties. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $17.39 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Support access control procedures by verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the logistics and distribution location.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or security-related incidents.
Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors by addressing inquiries and assisting with site-specific protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to observe and report any security-related concerns.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site-specific policies.
Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal team members to maintain security-related procedures and protocols at the location.
