As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, patrol assigned areas, and help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
- Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and observe for unusual activity.
- Report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Support emergency response activities as required by site policies and Allied Universal guidelines.
- Maintain detailed records and logs of access control activities and incidents.
