Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location where you will manage access control, greet drivers and visitors, verify credentials, and support screening procedures such as x-ray checks. You will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and document activity with clear communication. Requirements

• MUST HAVE VALID AND CURRENT CA. GUARD CARD & TRAINING CERTIFICATES!
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Loss Prevention experience is preferred.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• X‐Ray Screening Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at gates, guard shacks, and entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing sign-in logs, and directing traffic flow for deliveries and pickups.
• Monitor alarms, CCTV, and access control systems, and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
• Conduct inspections of inbound and outbound vehicles, trailers, and packages as assigned, documenting irregularities and helping to deter unauthorized removal of property.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the warehouse, yard, and perimeter, and complete detailed reports and shift documentation per Allied Universal guidelines.
