About The Position

As a Security Officer - Access Control in Crossett, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor entry points and patrol designated areas at a chemical and petrochemical location. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
  • Maintain detailed logs and reports of activities, observations, and incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and client guidelines.
  • Communicate security-related concerns or observations to the appropriate client representatives and/or Allied Universal management.
  • Follow all chemical and petrochemical industry protocols and procedures relevant to access control and security-related operations at the location.
