As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, manage access points, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with visitors and staff, providing outstanding customer service while supporting a secure environment. Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Assist with access control procedures at the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors as per site-specific policies.
Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting employees, contractors, and visitors in a professional manner.
Monitor security-related systems such as cameras and alarms to help to deter unauthorized activity within the manufacturing and industrial environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established protocols and reporting all incidents to the appropriate Allied Universal contacts and/or client representatives.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe for unusual activity and report any findings.
Document and maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities as required by site policies.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to support a secure working environment and participate in emergency response activities as needed.
