As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry and exit points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
MUST HAVE VALID AND CURRENT CA. GUARD CARD & TRAINING CERTIFICATES!
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Experience with customer service is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors.
Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with questions regarding access procedures and site-specific policies.
Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Maintain detailed logs and reports of all access control activities, incidents, and observations during each shift.
Collaborate with site management and/or emergency personnel as needed to support security-related operations.
