As an Access Control Officer at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and use technology to support your duties. Requirements

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.
Provide customer service by assisting individuals entering or exiting the premises and addressing inquiries in a professional manner.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site procedures.
Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders when appropriate, supporting emergency response activities as needed.
Maintain awareness of the manufacturing and industrial environment to identify and address potential security-related risks.
Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines and procedures while performing assigned duties.
