About The Position

As a Security Officer - Hotel Access Control in Corona, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a distinguished hotel and resort location, you will monitor entrances, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and manage access control systems to help to deter unauthorized entry into the location.
Greet guests, residents, and visitors in a professional manner, providing customer service while upholding site-specific security-related procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding areas to help to deter suspicious activity.
Document and report any security-related incidents or unusual activity according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
Assist with emergency response activities as needed, working in coordination with site management and local authorities.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to residents and guests.
