Job Description As a Security Officer - Facility Patrol Driver in Memphis, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. This position involves driving responsibilities as you conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including both the business premises and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activities.
- Observe and report any suspicious activity or hazards encountered during patrols.
- Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to maintain a secure environment.
- Document and communicate all incidents, observations, and activities according to company and client protocols.
- Assist with access control procedures, including verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location.
