As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a commercial real estate location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
Monitor and control access to the location, verifying the credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns according to Allied Universal protocols.
Work collaboratively with property management and residents to address security-related matters and provide information as needed.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and promote a secure environment for all occupants and visitors.
