Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Must be at least 21 years of age for this role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with access control procedures at the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activity.
Provide customer service by following site-specific policies and procedures, as well as responding to security-related incidents and emergencies as directed.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to verify credentials and maintain a secure environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client requirements.
Collaborate with site staff and/or visitors to provide information and assistance as needed.
