As a Security Officer Access Control Specialist in Lebanon, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage access control, monitor entry and exit activity, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by following site-specific access control procedures, checking credentials, and directing authorized individuals to the appropriate areas within the location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points for the facility, trailer yards, and shipping and receiving areas to help support authorized access and help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and delivery records, issue badges or passes as required, and communicate clearly with site personnel regarding arrivals, departures, and restricted access areas.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with attention to gates, docks, parking areas, and other key points where working environments and conditions may vary by location.
