About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Control Specialist in Duluth, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer in a residential location, where you will monitor entry points, verify access, and support a welcoming environment for residents and guests. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor entry and exit points at the residential location, verify visitor and/or contractor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent access control practices.
Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to property management and/or local responders when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property, common areas, and perimeter to observe unusual activity and report security-related concerns according to site procedures.
