As an Access Control Officer at a thriving commercial real estate location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, patrolling assigned areas, and providing a visible presence. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control measures.
Monitor and control entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access within the commercial real estate location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, observations, and incidents as required by site protocols.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following location-specific guidelines.
