As an Access Control Security Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

State, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Control access to the manufacturing and industrial location by verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with questions related to access procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, and designated areas to observe and report any irregularities.
Document and report security-related incidents, breaches, or unusual occurrences to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
Assist with emergency response activities, such as evacuations or lockdowns, as outlined in site-specific procedures.
