As an Access Control Security Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • State, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Control access to the manufacturing and industrial location by verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with questions related to access procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, and designated areas to observe and report any irregularities.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, breaches, or unusual occurrences to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
  • Assist with emergency response activities, such as evacuations or lockdowns, as outlined in site-specific procedures.
