As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will monitor entrances, check credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Assist residents, guests, and visitors by following access control procedures at the residential location.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain order within the premises.
Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the community and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or unusual activities to the appropriate personnel.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site management to support a secure environment for all residents and visitors.
