As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor entrances and exits at a bustling retail location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and staff. Your role will involve conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting a secure environment. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Control access to the location by verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized individuals in accordance with site-specific policies.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the retail or mall location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business interior and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity, while observing for any security-related concerns.
Report security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to site procedures.
Support emergency response activities as required, following Allied Universal protocols and client instructions.
