Job Description As a Security Officer - Access Control Residential in Rye, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a residential setting, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with residents and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of authorized individuals at the residential location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Maintain accurate records and logs of activities, observations, and/or incidents as required by site procedures.
Communicate professionally with residents, visitors, and staff to address concerns or provide information related to access control and security-related matters.
Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site contacts to relay important information and follow site protocols.
