You will manage visitor and badge check-in, verify credentials, monitor entry points and/or CCTV, and document security-related activity. Through clear communication and a people-first approach, you will help to deter unauthorized access while supporting a welcoming experience for tenants, guests, and staff with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Manage access control by verifying identification, issuing and collecting visitor passes, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing arrivals to the appropriate areas.
  • Monitor entry points, cameras, and alarm panels as assigned, and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, incident documentation, and coordination with property management.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior common areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to identify maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
