As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Possess 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response actions appropriate for a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, assist with visitor and staff directions, and report policy violations or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Support a professional environment by following post orders, observing daily operations, and assisting with security-related requests in a courteous and respectful manner.
