As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, manage badge access, and conduct routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. You will remain visible throughout the facility, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. Requirements

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying identification and credentials for all individuals entering the premises.
Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, addressing inquiries and assisting visitors as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
Document observations, incidents, and any unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with site personnel to support emergency response activities and maintain a secure environment.
Report maintenance or security-related issues discovered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
