Job Description As a Security Officer - Access Control Manufacturing in Fernandina Beach, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible throughout the site. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment and providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Control access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Monitor security-related systems such as cameras and alarms to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues and observe for irregularities.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including assisting with evacuations or other procedures as directed.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to employees and visitors within the manufacturing and industrial location.
