Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents, while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the manufacturing and industrial location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
Document and report any security-related incidents, maintenance issues, or suspicious activities observed during patrols.
Collaborate with site personnel and/or law enforcement as needed to address incidents or emergencies.
