As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entrances and exits, verify credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, providing outstanding customer service, and using technology to support daily operations. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles as required.
Assist in carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies to help maintain a secure environment within a logistics and distribution setting.
Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and offering directions or assistance to employees, visitors, and delivery drivers.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns according to site protocols.
Support emergency response activities as needed, following Allied Universal and client-specific guidelines.
