As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution environment, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the location. Your presence and attention to detail will support a secure atmosphere for all personnel and visitors. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access at the location.
Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and assisting visitors, drivers, and staff in a professional manner.
Monitor security-related systems such as cameras and alarms to support site-specific policies and protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter security-related risks and identify unusual activity.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site procedures.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to maintain a secure and orderly environment at the logistics and distribution location.
