Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of personnel, residents, and visitors at the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
Work collaboratively with property management and/or residents to address concerns and provide information as needed.
Maintain a visible presence at access points and throughout the location to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure environment.
