As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing outstanding customer service. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help create a secure environment, and communicate clearly with all visitors and employees. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing access control procedures at the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity by maintaining a visible presence and following site-specific protocols.
Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and assisting employees, visitors, and contractors as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe and report any unusual conditions or activity.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site requirements.
Support emergency response activities as directed by site-specific policies and Allied Universal guidelines.
