You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and document activity with clear communication. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial location.
- Control access at gates and entry points by verifying credentials, checking visitor authorization, issuing temporary badges when directed, and maintaining sign-in and/or sign-out logs.
- Monitor vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow into and out of the facility, assist with directing deliveries to designated areas, and document entry and/or exit activity per post orders.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision as required.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of exterior and interior areas, including perimeter checkpoints and production-adjacent spaces, and report maintenance concerns and/or suspicious activity per procedure.
