As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, manage badge access, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and/or visitors as per site protocols.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established guidelines for the manufacturing and industrial environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Document and report any suspicious activities, security-related incidents, or irregularities observed during assigned shifts.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to support security-related operations and maintain a presence throughout the location.
  • Operate security-related equipment and technology as required for access control and incident response.
