As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, manage badge access, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the manufacturing and industrial location.
Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and/or visitors as per site protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established guidelines for the manufacturing and industrial environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related concerns.
Document and report any suspicious activities, security-related incidents, or irregularities observed during assigned shifts.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to support security-related operations and maintain a presence throughout the location.
Operate security-related equipment and technology as required for access control and incident response.
