As an Access Control Officer in a residential community, you will monitor entrances, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service to residents and guests. Your presence will contribute to a welcoming environment, and you will play a key role in maintaining order at the location. This position requires driving responsibilities. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as per client request.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures in accordance with site-specific policies.
Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access to the residential community.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and perimeter to observe and report any security-related concerns.
Maintain detailed and accurate activity logs and incident reports as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
Communicate professionally with residents, guests, staff, and emergency responders as needed.
Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific procedures, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
